Polar X - The Cult Wax
Polar X has a loyal following from skiers and snowboarders, amazed at how well the wax lasts and how fast their skis glide.

Ice blue in colour Polar X has plastic and synthetic wax additives giving it ultra hard properties and therefore very long lasting. The addition of Teflon creates a faster gliding wax. It is used for extremely cold snow with temperatures -16 to -24 degrees and plastic slopes.
Polar X helps to successfully counteract the higher friction and increased wear and tear that plastic slopes generate.

Polar X has to be ironed into the polyethylene sole and has a higher melting point than conventional waxes 90°c. The polyethylene sole melts at 130°c, so be careful.
Scrape while it is still warm after hot waxing.

Waxing Tip:
When ironing in DataWax, pass the iron over the ski sole over and over again for at least 3-5 minutes. The wax will then penetrate right into the sole so that the wax can leech out in the course of multiple runs.
