This set of three only fits files up to 20mm in width. They vary in angle as listed below: 0.5 degree - used on all skis and boards. For the advanced to expert rider who carves the majority of their turns like the aggressive and responsive feel. 0.7 degree - used when 0.5 degree base bevel is still "too aggressive" or "too catchy". 1.0 degree - used for easier steering by ski and board instructors working with clients where steering skills are used a lot. 1.5 degree - used to let the ski transition from edge to edge more easily, making the ski more forgiving, especially at speed. For this reason downhill skis often have base bevels up to 1.5 degrees. 22
